Before Your Session
Before your online session with one of our providers we need to make sure your computer is setup properly. In a nutshell, we need to have you install our telemedicine software (VSee) and make sure your camera (webcam), microphone, and speakers are working properly.
Testing mic/camera/speakers is for desktop/laptop computers only. It’s unnecessary for mobile devices (e.g. Android/iOS Smartphones and Tablets). Additionally, this is unnecessary if you have already had an InstantMD online session with this exact desktop/laptop.
To setup/test your system, simply click on the “Enter Waiting Room” button below for the InstantMD Waiting Room entry page. Once on the entry page, click on “Test Computer” in the upper-right and follow the on-screen instructions.
The basic steps are:
- Install telemedicine software (VSee).
- Test camera, microphone, and speakers.
- Enter the Waiting Room and a provider will start a session when you when ready.
